A personal reflection and an outlook for 2026
When we look back on the past retreat cycles, one feeling stands out above all others: gratitude. Gratitude for the people who placed their trust in us, for the openness in our encounters, and for the many quiet, honest moments of inner work we were able to experience together.
At Safe Spirit, we do not see retreats as something to be “consumed,” but as a shared journey for a certain period of time. A path where everyone is allowed to move at their own pace and where nothing needs to be forced.
Inner work begins with honesty
Many people come to us with a desire for change. What we experience again and again is that real change happens when we allow ourselves to meet ourselves honestly. Not perfectly, not spiritually “correct,” but human.
We understand this moment as an inner Exodus. Not as running away from life, but as a gentle step out of old patterns and a conscious turning toward what truly matters now.
- Dalai Lama
Experience is the beginning, integration is the path
In our retreats, we place little emphasis on big words or extraordinary experiences. What matters to us is that what is experienced can be carried into everyday life. This is why we consciously give a lot of space to integration.
For us, integration means giving yourself time. Listening to what has been experienced without pressure. Allowing small changes instead of wanting everything at once. Many participants report that this attitude helps them bring more clarity and stability into their daily lives.
How we work
Our retreats are clearly structured and at the same time carried by a great deal of humanity. We work in small groups to create a space where trust, safety, and closeness can emerge.
After the retreats, we often hear reflections such as:
“I feel clearer and calmer.”
“I can better understand and regulate my emotions.”
“I make decisions more consciously.”
The atmosphere is often described as warm, friendly, heartfelt, and almost family-like. This is exactly the kind of space we aim to hold.
Outlook for 2026
In 2026, we will continue on this path. Our retreats will once again take place in selected locations in Spain, including Tenerife and the Tarragona region. We remain committed to small groups and a calm, clear framework.
If you feel that this path speaks to you, you are warmly invited to learn more. Not out of curiosity or pressure, but from an inner yes to yourself.
Further information about the 2026 retreat cycles will be shared here on the blog soon.
